Become a Foster

All rescue groups need foster homes for the animals that they save. Since most rescues are foster-only with no shelter facility, foster homes are the lifeblood of rescue groups. Without new foster homes, the number of animals that can be saved is limited. When you give a homeless pet a temporary home you are truly saving a life.

If you are considering becoming a foster to a GSD, please read over the Foster Policies.

Once you have read over the polices and are in agreement, then download the Foster Application and fill it out!

*Both forms will need to be filled out before becoming a foster

Foster to Adopt

If you would like to add a new family member, but are worried about committing life-long to the wrong dog for you and your family, this is a good option for you. You can enter into a foster contract with us for the dog you wish to foster. After the 2 week foster period is over, and you decide not to adopt the dog, we hope that you will still continue to foster the dog. If you choose to keep the dog, we will do an adoption contract at that time or when medicals are completed. If you choose not to keep the dog, we will list the dog on our site as available. Please fill out or adoption application and not the foster application if your intention is to possibly adopt the dog you foster.
